Ia:the illegal alien

He is so far, far away from being understood, he may as well be from space.

It's ET, but instead of an 'alien', Dougie finds an 'illegal alien' kid.

Dougie lives in a border town and he finds Beto, an undocumented immigrant, alone and near death in the desert. He nurses him back to health and together they set off to help him find his home.

It’s timely and as our nation becomes more divided, the story is a coming together of disparate pieces.
